Hi! my name is Betty and I have 6 kids, two of which are little girls who love to share with me which ribbons and clips they like the most. I started making hair accessories for my little girls to wear. I enjoyed making all types of clips and decided to start sharing my handmade hair clips with all of you. My goal is to make hair clips and accessories that are not just affordable but also beautiful and make them available to everyone.

A Little Dress for Imani

My parents have 9 grandchildren...only 2 are girls...the oldest, my daughter Musodzi and my youngest sister Kim's daughter Imani. Imani was a preemie and I wanted to make her a special dress. Extra wide ecru eyelet created the skirt and flounce. The bodice and collar are batiste. Double gathered eyelet with satin ribbon draws in the puff sleeves. Gold trimmed cream colored lace create a mock bib. The mock bib and the waist are emphasized with green grossgrain ribbon. Tiny ribbon roses and buds complete the dress.

Imani will be 12 in a couple of weeks and you can believe she doesn't wear this style of dress now...But her Mom Kim still has it saved neatly away...In fact I just took these images the other day.
